Stop guessing chart patterns. You're doing it backwards

The Bullish Pennant shows a sharp rally, a tight triangle, then a breakout higher. The Bull Flag shows a strong rally, a short pullback channel, then a breakout higher.

The Falling Wedge squeezes two downward lines together, often flipping into a move higher. The Cup and Handle shows a rounded dip, a small pullback, then a breakout higher.

The Triple Bottom forms three equal lows, then a breakout above the neckline confirms the reversal.
