What is RPM?

Updated October 21, 2026

RPM is how much you actually earn per 1,000 views after the platform takes its cut.

RPM means revenue per mille. It counts all views, even ones without ads.

It's the number to use when guessing how much a channel can make.

It changes a lot by niche, viewer country and season.

Example

Your video gets 50,000 views with a $4 RPM, so it earns about $200.
