What is Recurring Commission?

Updated October 21, 2026

A recurring commission pays you every month or year that a referred customer keeps paying.

Instead of one payout, you earn again and again from one sale.

Software, memberships and some broker programs pay this way.

It stacks up over time, which is why many affiliates hunt for these offers.

Example

You refer 10 people to a $50 per month tool at 30% and earn $150 a month while they stay.

Questions people ask

Does it last forever?

Only while the customer stays and the program runs.

Is it better than one time?

Often over the long run, if customers stick around.
