What is Win Rate?
Updated October 21, 2026
Win rate is the percentage of your trades that close in profit.
If you win 6 out of 10 trades, your win rate is 60%.
A high win rate isn't everything. If wins are tiny and losses are huge, you still lose.
When checking a bot or trader, look at win rate together with risk to reward and drawdown.
Example
A bot wins 90% of trades but one loss wipes out a month of wins.
Questions people ask
What's a good win rate?
It depends on your risk to reward. 40% can be fine with big winners.
Why do some bots show 95% wins?
They may hold losers open or use no stops, which is risky.
