What is ECN Broker?
Updated October 17, 2026
An ECN broker sends your orders into a network of banks and liquidity providers instead of trading against you.
ECN means Electronic Communication Network. Your orders match with other market players.
You usually get raw spreads and pay a commission per lot.
ECN accounts are popular with bots and scalpers because of tight pricing and fast fills.
Example
Your ECN account shows EURUSD at a 0.1 pip spread plus a $7 per lot commission.
Questions people ask
