What is Withdrawal?

Updated October 19, 2026

A withdrawal is taking money out of your trading or investing account back to your bank or wallet.

How fast and easy withdrawals are tells you a lot about a broker.

Good brokers process them in a day or two. Bad ones stall and make excuses.

Test a small withdrawal early so you know the process works.

Example

You withdraw $50 to your bank and it arrives in two days.
