What is Signal Provider?

Updated October 17, 2026

A signal provider is a trader or service that shares trade ideas or trades for others to follow.

Signals can be a simple message like buy gold here, stop there. Or they can be linked so trades copy over automatically.

Some providers are skilled, some just sell hype. Screenshots of wins prove nothing.

Look for verified track records over many months. An AI driven signal service still needs that same proof.

Example

A signal says sell GBPUSD at 1.2700, stop loss 1.2730, take profit 1.2640.

Questions people ask

How do I check a signal provider?

Look for verified stats from a third party like Myfxbook, not just screenshots.

Are free signals any good?

Some are, many aren't. Test on a demo first.
